Script Example

This is an example of a script that can be read to you every single morning, at 9 am precisely. It’s a fantastic start to the day.

Good morning Ryan, how happy are you today on a scale of 1 to 10? Your happiness is recorded in the data so we can figure out the patterns of your happiness.

What’s something you’ve been procrastinating on? What’s something you should really do? What are the things you have to do today? This is to ask you what tasks you need to do.

Get out of bed.

When do you need to do task 1? When do you need to do task 2? the person on the phone moves down the list with you, getting you to verbally commit to every single thing on the to-do list.

Okay for real now get out of bed. Now make your bed. so that you aren’t tempted to get back into it. Good.

Are there dirty clothes on your floor? Are there dirty dishes in your sink? These are some unconventional quality-of-life metrics to help track how you’re doing. Plus it’s motivation to do these things the night before so you don’t have to admit to not doing it.

Tim Ferris asks “What would you do if you knew you could not fail?” It’s awesome to end with an inspirational quote. Using the same quote repetitively helps drive it into your mind.

Now go for a walk around the block. Starting you off with an action immediately is a great way to get the blood pumping and start the day with purpose.

How happy are you today on a scale of 1 to 10? (record)

He would also you to make sure that he gets out of the city at least twice per month, and that be takes

his dog for a run on Sunday Saturday and Thursday every week.

What’s something you’ve been procrastinating on? What’s something you should

really do? What are the things you have to do today?

(Then go through the list of tasks he says and ask him when he plans on doing

each item on the list.)

Today I would like you to eat a good breakfast that is not from the A2 cafe. What have you had for

breakfast yesterday? On a scale of 1-10, how much did you enjoy it? Where did you buy it? (record

this)

I would encourage you to think about what changes to this script would be beneficial to you.

Timothy Ferris, author of the four hour work week, asks you this question. (short pause) “What would

you do if you knew you could not fail?”

Have an amazing day! I know it’s gonna be awesome!

amount of time)

You’re supposed to go rock climbing twice this week, when do you plan on doing that?

“Now take a shower you stinky bitch” (he wants you to say it this way.)

What does your day ahead look like? Are you procrastinating on anything?

“I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude, if you’re grateful, you’ll
